Step 1: Meeting

I offer a free, half-hour initial consultation in person or by phone or Zoom. We’ll discuss how we can work together and how my services might help you with your needs.

During this session, I’d like to learn about:

  • your vision and dreams for your business or product

  • how you imagine your business to thrive into the future

  • the overall message you wish to portray with your brand

  • what should people feel when they see or think of your brand

(Please see the Branding Design Questionnaire for the complete list of topics)

Before we meet, please take a look at the samples of my logo design work.

Step 2: Contract

If you decide to work with me, I will draft a simple contract outlining the scope of work, schedule and terms. I typically request a 50% deposit before work begins and the balance paid in full as I release your finished logo files. I accept credit cards, PayPal and offer flexible payment plans upon request. Please see Logo Design Packages on this page.

Step 3: Process

Branding and logo design is a collaborative creative process. As we begin to work together, I welcome your input in the form of sketches, web links or photographs that are relevant to you. While helpful, this step is not necessary. If you don’t have ideas to share, I will suggest various visual directions for your consideration. At this stage, we enter a creative dialog. I present logo ideas as PDF comps or JPEG images for your review and feedback. I’ll keep refining the schematics of your choice until we arrive at the final selection. It is very important that you are fully engaged in and present throughout this co-creative process.

Lastly, I present the optional identity application in the form of business cards and letterhead. Tag line creation and other applications will be available as part of the specific design package or upon request.

Logo Design

Design isn’t a commodity — you will get different costs from every designer you speak to. I personally listen to your specific needs first, and then put together a customized proposal based on these needs. The more you can invest, the more I can invest in your project.

Sliding scale and installment payments available.

In this logo symbol, the client wanted to express the heart-centered learning approach of her program. The two heart symbols are forming an image of a book through the negative space interplay. The upward movement suggests an organic growth and upliftment. —Luce
